A project, titled Media Course and Employment for Disabled Persons 2010-2011

This year, as usually, our traditional Fancy Dress Party started with the competition of fancy dresses.

Christmas celebrations in 2009. 

Getting close to the celebrations at the end of the year (Translator: in 2009.), we had many special events. This year, similarly to other years, the West End City Center (Translator: a big shopping and entertainment centre in Budapest), provided us a special possibility to sell our products at very friendly conditions. Getting near to Christmas, some of our products become very popular, for example candles, or gifts/souvenirs, since people use more of them, during the celebrations.

Trip to the zoo in Vienna26th of Sept, 2009.

On the 26th of September, some of the employees of the Alliance Limited-liability Company (32 persons, actually) started a trip. They went to Vienna, to visit the zoo in Schönbrunn. The idea came from Gábor Laczkó, the group leader of the gardeners, who started the organizing of the trip as well.

Harvest Ball 25th of Sept, 2009. - Csömör

In the afternoon, on the 25th of September, we held our traditional celebration called Harvest Ball. After the opening ceremony, and the "rise of the grapes", Erna Kincses, and László Szakály told a poem. Than Tamás Véghelyi and Roland Rózsavölgyi sang a harvest song. Next we had the election of the "harvest judge", and his "wife". Everybody was very excited about the results.

Summer holiday programs

Every summer we provide summer holiday programs to our clients. Groups of 8-10 persons, accompanied by helpers spend one week in Berekfürdő, in Siófok, in Balatonszepezd or in Királd.

As it is already known, this year the jury of Essl Social Prize has chosen our organization, the Foundation for Equal Rights!, to honour our work with this international award, including the one million Euros. Mrs. Szekeres received the Essl Social Prize, for her project called "For Dignified Aging of the Disabled".

Juniális at the Rehabilitation Centre in Csömör - 20th of Juni, 2009. - Csömör

This year, we organized our traditional celebration called "Juniális" on the 20th of June.
Last year on the Juniális, there was a very rich program, with several performers from outside our institute. This year, we had an innerly program for our clients, as well as for our staff, and for their family members invited to the celebration.

One million Euros award, given to a Hungarian organization - 15th of April, 2009. - Csömör

By giving one million Euros award to the Foundation for Equal Rights! (located in Csömör), Essl Social Prize honored the work of the civil organization, which contributed to developing solidarity both at home, and at international levels. In parallel with giving the award, they repeated the international call for organizations and foundations working on the fields of social works. By giving the one million Euros award the founders honor and support outstanding civil organizations operating in the field of social work.
